Hi,

Been lurking on this board awhile and have found some wonderful info and great tips! Thank you! Now I need some help...

We are planning to spend 1 day in US--our first time there--with me, DH, DS10 and DD7. We are staying offsite, so no FOTL. We will be there on a weekday (not yet sure which day) during the week before Christmas. We're hoping to be there before the holiday crowds hit, but will probably purchase the Express plus passes anyway (at $40 total, the cost isn't too out of line).

What is the best strategy to see this park in one day using the express passes? I've heard MIB is addicting--LOL--but other than that, what other attractions here are worth doing more than once? Should we hit those lines early without using the express passes, then again later with the passes?

Thanks to anyone who can offer strategy suggestions--we are really looking forward to our first trip to US!! :D

I wouldn't worry about crowds during that time frame. They'll still be relatively light, but growing. Expect to wait a maximum of 20-30 mins for anything. And that's if there's a fluke.

Hmmm...thanks Dark Marauder! Maybe if we go early in the week the crowds will be light enough that we won't even need to purchase the express plus passes. That $40 would probably cover lunch and parking...:D I see an itinerary change in my future!

If you get addicted to MIB, you can always use the single riders line. It is much shorter and you can then ride it over and over again without having to wait in the long lines. We had FOTL and still used the single rider line over the summer because it was that quick.

Touring plan with Express?
SHREK
Nuetron
Back to the Future
MIB
MIB (use the baby hand off)
Jaws
ET
T2
Twister
Earthquake
Shows

This is one man's opinion but it has worked more than once without a hitch. Note: I skip Barney and Woody.

Thanks for the replies! :D We'll plan on being there early in the week and using the free express passes if needed.

Motherfletcher: About how long would it take you to accomplish your touring plan?

Without the shows I can be done by noon. That is with 2 kids that know the park and are willing to early morning commando tour at least to MIB.
