Help please! My wedding colours...

Hi

I'm sooooo bad at putting colours together, and my DF hasn't got a clue so I thought I'd ask here

I plan on using pale/light blues for the bridesmaid dresses and then teaming it with bright pink flowers. Can anyone help with what the guys should wear? I just don't really know how to tie it all in together.

Here's an example of the kinds of colours I'm thinking:

we were going to do very similar colors but changed them at last minute...

the guys were going to wear the matching color vest and tie and their bout would be the color of the girls flowers

I'd say have the guys wear ties/vests in the girls dress color and have the bout flowers be the same as the girls.

blue and pink look great together! i think on theknot.com there are some articles on color combos - turquoise and pink is one of those. definately check that out for some ideas. keep it simple: you don't want too many colors to jet jumbled up together. with that in mind, how about a simple black tux with a white shirt. instead of coordinating ties and vests (i personally hate that matchy-match look!) just use pink boutoneirs to match the girl's flowers. they will look fabulous and stylish for sure.

OMG LOVE Your colors!!!!! The guys can wear the same color and give them a pink flower too. It's going to look so beautiful!!!

marielynn - I think you may be right about the more simple colours on the guys. I suggested the blue vest to DF and his wasn't having any of it! We've kind of decided on cream vests now with light blue ties and then a matching flower with the girls.

Lynn - Thankyou for your input I was wondering whether people would think it looked nice or not, I'm a bit afraid of doing things I'm unsure of, so your comment has helped me to make my mind up!! I lurked a lot on your TR by the way, and I've actually "borrowed" a couple of pics of yours for my planning folder, I hope you don't mind! Your wedding was truly beautiful!!

Total opposites, but they really bring out the best in each other.

ETA: What kind of flowers are they? I've never seen flowers like that before!

These are plumeria. They are a tropical flower....I'm actually having silk flowers because they hold up better in the heat and I can use them for other things after the wedding!
