Help PLEASE!!!! March 5 - 16 Crowds???

Can anyone give me some idea of what the crowds might be like during this time period? If we were to try the Universal parks say Thursday - Sunday in this time period will the crowds be fairly large? Should we plan on a Universal hotel for FOTL?

If you stay onsite, you will have no worries about the crowds! Mardi Gras will be going on then on Saturday nights so expect a big crowd for that. My advice is to stay onsite. You won't have to worry about waiting in long lines plus the convenience of walking to the parks and Citywalk and the atmosphere at the hotels cannot be beat!

Also not sure if spring break will be on then which tends to add more guests at the parks
