HELP please leaving Sat. Made a mistake with HDDR and DDP

6 months ago. I made reservations for HDDR. I didn't purchase the dining plan till recently. So I had to pay oop for HDDR with the plan to adjust it to the DP at the podium. Well I just look and I guess I stupidly booked category 1 (which is not accepted by the DP). Cat 2 & 3 r sold out. We leave Saturday and the reservation is for Monday. I will continue to look but if I can't find an opening in cat 2 or 3. Do u know what will happen? Will I be out of luck and not be able to put it on the dining plan? Do you think they will let me use the dining plan and pay the difference from cat 2 to cat 1? Or do u think they will just let me slide?

My guess is that you are going to have to pay for it. They may move your seat to Cat 2 or 3 if they have pace, but if they don't, then I think they will make you pay for it.

We have the dining plan, but I chose to pay OOP for SoA for better seating. Maybe it will be worth it.

You would have to be moved to cat 2 or 3 to use the dining plan... and that would only happen if they have room. If they do not, then you will need to keep your cat 1 booking and you would have to pay OOP for it. They will not allow you to pay the difference.

Here's what I'd do.... just enjoy the show at category 1. Save your dining credits for another meal. There are plenty of fun restaurants covered by the dining plan.

You can use your dining credits for Cat 1 for the 9:00 pm show. Is that the show you booked? Have you looked into going to a different show time?

call reservations and ask them if you can change it as I had to change california grill and that also is a credit card hold and as long was three days before was fine..

The only way to use credits for HDDR is to go to the later show (9pm I think it is). Otherwise, you can not.

They already said Cat 2 and 3 are sold out. HDDR is an actually ticket reservation, unlike Cali Grill which is an ADR. HDDR only has a specific number of tables. If those tables are booked for a show, then they are booked. There is no way to just change it.
