We are on free DDP in August. Really wanted to take my daughter to Le Cellier as I used to work there, but were only able to get lunch ADR. Question is, which ADR should I keep - lunch at Le Cellier or dinner at Chefs? We (ok, probably I) love sitting and have a relaxing dinner at the parks, but I do want to check out Le Cellier. Any advice would be most appreciated!

I've never been to LeCellier yet, but I love Chefs and I like a nice sit down at dinner. Would a sit down at lunch carve out too much of your park time? Honestly, I don't think you could go wrong with either.

We also have a lunch adr at Le Cellier this coming August. I am thinking that it will be nice to be out of the heat in the middle of the day. We have also had lunch at Chefs de France in the past & thought it was wonderful. Last November some of our Grand gathering group ate dinner at Chefs and were very disappointed in their meal.

I have been to LeCellier for lunch recently and it was awesome.
I would highly recommend it.

I have also done Chefs fir dinner.

Out of the two I liked LeCellier better.

We had dinner at Chefs during our trip last December and were not impressed with either the food or the service. Disappointing because we've had lunch there in the past and it was wonderful. We also had dinner at Le Cellier in December and it was awesome! Of the two I would pick Le Cellier hands down. Chefs is off our list for dinner, but I would go back for lunch.

We had lunch at Chefs and dinner at Le Cellier on the same day last September - that was a good eatin' day!!

Because Le Cellier is known for its great steaks and cheddar cheese soup we did it for dinner because of the heaviness of the meal and we aren't used to having heavy meals early in the day. So I would probably, for that reason alone, pick Chefs.

Everything we had at Chefs was delicious and not too heavy on the tummy which left us with lots of energy to go see the rest of the World Showcase and work up an appetite for the feast at night!

BTW, don't give up on Le Cellier for dinner, its always worth ringing a couple of times a day to see if someone has cancelled!

hahah...this is a tough one! I love them both, but I would give the edge to Le Chefs de France! I thought the food was a bit better and I like the atmosphere at Chefs better. We actually do enjoy both of them, but if I had to choose only one of them...it would be Chefs!

We were just at Lecelliar for lunch on Thursday and it was fantastic I would highly recommend it.

I would reco mmend Le Cellier. We went to Chefs and found it not appetizing. Le Cellier is amazing, though.

That's tough, we like them both. I would have to say the food was better at Le Cellier. However, the location of Chefs is awsome! Good luck!:)

You know, we are in the minority with regard to LeCellier. We had lunch there in 2006 and we didn't understand all the hype about this place. :confused3 People use words like "amazing" and "awesome" to describe their meals at LeCellier. We had a nice lunch, nothing great. We thought the atmosphere was dull and kind of dreary. It was fine, but that's it. I know LeCellier ADR's are almost impossible to get, but my family has no interest whatsoever. I guess I'm lucky.

We like Chefs.

I prefer Le Cellier. I just had lunch there last week and I really enjoyed it. It was my favorite meal of the entire trip.

We had lunch at Chefs de France in 2004 and dinner at Le Cellier in 2006 (giving you the dates to be fair...perhaps one might have chanced since then). I found Le Cellier to be far better than CdF. At CdF we were really crowded in with a bunch of other tables, it was very loud, and service was spotty. I had high hopes for the food, but it was only fair, nothing to really write home about. I can't complain per se, but I see no reason to beat a path to their door.

Le Cellier was incredible. But then, it was a very cold night after a long day in the parks, and we were seated in a warm, cozy, softly lit restaurant near the fire place. Forgetting the atmosphere, our service was outstanding. The food...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I only ate a portion of my Mushroom filet before delayed motion sickness from Mission: Space took over, but what I had before the restaurant started see-sawing was incredible. DH, who never eats much, finished his, then finished mine! It was THAT good. Still, I'm amazed he didn't make himself sick from overeating

Thanks for your input everyone! I stuck with Le Cellier, so ended up cancelling the Chefs ADR. If anyone's interested - Aug 31, 2 people, 6:40 pm.

Can't wait to try that Cheddar cheese soup!!

For us, that choice would be easy. Le Cellier, hands down.:upsidedow
