Help please!!!Kidani Villia standard view Room request

I have asked this on AKL/AKK threads but haven't received an answer. I know that you can't request certain room # but should I just ask for a villa that is close to lobby and bus stop? Thanks

Kindani Village is part of the DVC resorts; so you may want to post on the DVC boards to get a more reliable answer.

I'm not sure that I would want a room at Kidani that is close to the bus stop. The bus stop is right in front of some villas, and the smoking section is by the bus stop also. If I were requesting a standard view Kidani villa, I would ask for pool view. It isn't very far from the lobby, and should be away from the noise of the buses. Maybe someone who has actually stayed in a villa by the bus stop can be of more help. We always stay in a savannah view villa at Kidani.

Good points. Since 3 out of 4 people staying there have serious health issues with smoke. Just dont want to be put at the end of a hall. Thanks for you help!!!

There are multiple boards on DVC. Don't post on the rent/trade board. I think the DVC Operations one will work for you.

Ask for a room next to the Rafiki Elevator, You will be close to the pool and lobby and the elevator goes into the covered car park. It really ticked all my boxes last year. The view was not that bad either.

I completely agree with not staying near the bus stop b/c of the smoking area. As a DVC member, I would tell you there really isn't a "pool" view like the Jambo House. The pool sits away from the resort a little down a path below the fitness center. You may have some rooms that can "see" the pool, but definitely not a pool view as you would have at other resorts or at the Jambo House.
