I seem to be having a dilemna.

I'm happy and sad at the same time! I was not expecting Fireworks or Fastasmic to show during our trip October 2-6. We will be in the parks on Wed-Fri. They are both showing on Friday, the day we were planning to be in CA. This day also happens to be MHT. The hours listed on our tickets are from 7:30-11:30. We've never seen Fantasmic DL but have seen WDW's version several times.

Fireworks show at 9:25
Fantasmic shows at 9:00 & 10:30

My question is would a couple hours at MHT be enough to see the majority of offerings (we will have been in the park all day)? And would you sacrifice the last couple of hours to see the 9:25 fireworks and 10:30 Fantasmic if it was your last and only chance? Would it even be worth hopping over for since we won't be able to stake out a spot? We don't need prime. Just a decent view. Where would you suggest we view from if your advice is to try and squeeze it in?

Would you just chalk it up and stay at MHT the entire time? Should I not even be considering this? I would really appreciate your input! Thanks!!!

Storybook Land Canal Boats are closed! I wanted to ride them at twilight!:sad1:. Guess I'll have to make up for it by riding BTMRR in the dark a couple times!

ok here is my gut instinct.......play it by ear, see how much you are enjoying MHT and decide if you want to hop. I paid for the Fantasmic desert buffet last trip and I enjoyed the show but felt we missed alot of ride time. Alot of it depends on the kids , do they like shows or are they runnin from ride to ride? My boys would pick MHT a million times over fireworks and Fantasmic, but they are 8 and 10 , maybe older then yours. I cant remember if you can see the fireworks from DCA. We are going the same time ..............maybe we will see you there, I will be walikng around with a kid dressed like a banana    he thinks this guy is cool!
