i think talking to his parents in private may be a good idea. and if she has lost her father recently, trust me, telling her she may be in jeapordy of losing her son, would push her into protective mom mode.

True. The sudden loss of "Grampy" (as they called him) devasted all of them (and myself. I had the pleasure of meeting him several times, and he was a very nice man). Not to mention that she's already lost a daughter (Morgan, R.I.P. Died in the NICU, not even a day old).

I'll try to get ahold of her somehow (she's a nurse, and I'm not sure of her hours).
