I've got an iffy back too, and always before my vacations try to really take it easy.

You might ask about a cortizone shot, that has helped my back immensely in the past. Sort of made it feel more perfect than ever.

I have a velcro back wrap that I bought from Sharper Image. It has magnets sewn in, and it also has a removable pack that you can heat or freeze. I bought it because I was worried about having my back act up at WDW.

I also have the ThermaCare disposable wraps but I haven't ever used one. Now since I said that my back will go out...
