HELP PLEASE!!! (Cricut or others)

I am just now wanting to start to invites, scrapbooks, and decor items. I see all these cool things when I do searches for Mickey Mouse Birthday invites. I thought that they all use a Cricut, but after looking around on here I see that many people are talking about other machines too! What is a good machine. I can get a new Cricut Expression for $125.00 is that a good one? Should I pay for for a CE2 machine?

I really love all the Mickey Head cut outs and and all that other stuff.

Please Help me understand this more.

or would you want to make your own stuff??

I"m wanting the cameo at this moment since the cricut isn't working with sure cuts alot program any more. really that is the breaking point for me, I want Mickey doing the rides not just posing
