I don't know why I can't just be satisfied with what I have and quit looking.. but :confused3 ...

Right now I have CBR for 5 nights approx $134 / night...(package w/ dining , YQE code)

I was looking.. and saw that Swan has the first 3 nights of my stay available at the teacher rate of $149/ night.. (This is my first, and possibly last :teacher: , year as a substitute teacher)

Would that be worth it? Can you even book a split stay with the Swan and then CBR, since Swan isn't technically Disney? Would the Swan part be a package? Would it be more hassle than it's worth?

I think I'm just getting greedy, since I've never stayed in a deluxe!!

(Oh Goodness.. I have 61 more days... my brain is going to explode if I don't quit looking at different ways to stay!!)

I would definitely do a split stay, except I am not sure if you can do the dining plan with the swan-just call 407-wdw-dine and ask them.
We often split our stays because I too have trouble deciding where to stay and at 149 the swan is a fantastic rate. You can walk or take the boat to epcot and MGM and there are many dining options open to you at boardwalk ,beach and yacht club, swan and dolphin all within walking distance, and of course the epcot restaurants also.
Carribean Beach on the other hand is more removed but has a nice themed pool, great food court and restaurant on site, boating, a sandy beach , an island with birds, and an island feel.
Sounds like the best of both worlds to me. Do it! If you stay at only one you'll always wonder what the other would have been like. We just put our bags in the car or go to the other hotel and have them hold them till your room is ready. It's not a big deal if your room is not ready on time , you can go to a theme park or hang at the pool until it is. Just ask ahead of time for an early check in and hopefully them will accomodate you.
We recently stayed at Beach Club and loved the area, the swan is in the same area. Have fun.

That's what I keep thinking too,.. But I think my husband would :faint: if I try to change things again!

I have never split a stay before.. and it sounds kinda confusing to book...

We won't have a car there to put luggage in though.. and I'm guessing the bell hops will not just transfer it for me from the Swan to CBR.. like they would between Disney resorts, huh??

Hmmmm... so many questions... so little time!

This year will be our first time to stay at CBR.We have done all of the value resorts, which we love a lot,but this year we are "moving on up",(but not to the east side).haha.I would suggest that if you have split your stays before,go ahead and do it again. We have never split our stays so I can't give you any firsthand advice. But I know you'll have a great time no matter what!
BTY:I have read a lot of great things about CBR.So we are really looking forward to our stay there.

Just know that with the Swan, you can't use the Magical Express airport service. We always stay at the Swan or Dolphin since we can stay for free on Starwood points, but that is the only disappointment. We love staying there because of the 50's style fountain shop at the Dolphin and the Heavenly Beds!
