Help please advantix type camera

Ok,

I bought a refurbished Fuji endeavor camera off ebay. Got it a couple days before our Disney trip. Brought the film with Disney pics to Wal mart for processing. When i picked it up, they said the film was unexposed. The film counter worked. The gray marker on the film moved to the x postion. Did I load the film wrong? Is this a faulty camera?

Sounds like the camera is bad. It may not be catching and moving the film. I have an advantix and I just pop the film in and it advances to the correct position. I've never had a problem. I can't imagine how you could do it incorrectly. You might take it to a camera store and have them look at it. They might be able to tell you right away what the problem is. Then, it is a matter of how much you spent vs. what it will cost to repair. Good luck!

I agree, sounds like the camera is bad. I use an advantix myself and have seen several different models. On all of them there was only way the film would fit. You can see what it would cost to get it repaired, but it might be better to see if you can get your money back from the seller depending on how you paid for it.

There's only one way to load the APS film, so you couldn't have gotten that wrong.

I recently had a roll of APS film processed and the developer said it was blank. I thought for sure it was at position #3, but since then I've found two unused rolls and maybe I did try to process a roll I hadn't used.

If it only happened to one roll, maybe it was bad film. If it happened to multiple rolls - blame the camera.
