Can someone please start me in the right planning direction. OUr 3 days schedule just came out on the DL site today.

We are at DLR for 3 days. Mon. Tue and Wed. Getting MM for Tuesday.

What should I plan for each day? Do I break it down by area's and show's and what would be the best day to go to DCAP, we have a 2 year old so not riding most of the adult rides.

Thank you!!!

we have a similar issue coming up. we set our plans up by picking the shows and parades we really want to see. We then planned what section of the park to go to ex- 1st DL fantasyland then check lunch/brunch...quick nap...then back to park for parade... Not sure if this gives you a push in the right way but we wanted to be sure we get in the important parades and shows.

I usually make dining plans early on, that helps me figure out our schedule. And I try to work it around show and parade times.

We just did 3 days in Disneyland. I planned things around dining reservations and what shows I wanted to watch. The only show that we missed was HSM3 but my DS didn't care.

The first day we did Bibidy Bobidy Boutique, Ariel's Grotto for lunch and rode as many rides as we could in DL and DCA from open to close.

The second day I didn't schedule any meals. We used our Magic Morning in fantasy land, did the Jedi Academy twice (DS wasn't picked the first time), ate lunch at Cafe Orleans, and rode the rest of the rides in DL. We went back to the hotel for naps/swim at Hojos. Then went back to DL for the Celebrate parade and dinner in downtown Disney.

The third day we started out with breakfast at the Plaza Inn with Minnie and Friends. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anybody. After breakfast we went to DCA, watched Aladdin and Playhouse Disney, and explored all the areas we hadn't seen the first day. Then back to the Hojo for an afternoon swim. After our rest we went back to DCA for the Pixar parade. It was fun parade! Then we went into Disneyland to ride our favorite rides a few more times and to do some shopping. This was a Friday so Disney started to get crowded quickly. The lines for rides were getting long so we went to DTD for dinner and then some shopping at the World of Disney for souvenirs for the family. Our feet were dragging by the end of the night so instead of going back to DL for the fireworks we just watched the from the parking lot at Hojos. It's a perfect view.

This is what I do on 3 day trips.

1st day:
Arrive at DLR 30 minutes before opening
Spend the day from Open to close in DL proper.

2nd Day:
Arrive at DLR 30 minutes prior to MM
Enjoy DL from MM until CA opens at 10:00
Go over to CA and tour the park until close
Head back over to DL and finish the night there

3rd Day:
Schedule a Character Breakfast
Arrive at DLR at opening
Start the morning at DL and park hop through out the day repeating rides I want to do again.
