Hi!

My son is applying for the Fall 2011 Career Start Program - he is hoping so much to get accepted! :yay: But he's very family-oriented and is sad about not seeing his family during the holidays.

We want to come and visit him during December (not Christmas week, he knows he'll be working too much then!) but we're confused about the best way to use his employee discount to book the trip.

I saw the other thread that spoke about getting the reservation info and holiday specials deals. Would he have to wait until the deals came out to book the trip through the hub? If he booked it earlier, could the discounts then be applied when they came out?

I know the limit of room discounts per year is 5 reservations - is each room a reservation? We'd need 2 rooms so not sure if that is 1 or 2 reservations.

If we wanted to use the dining discounts that are offered to employee families, would everyone in our party have to be on the same deal?

Thanks so much for your help! :)

And it's ok for him to stay with us instead of at his housing apartment during our whole stay - as long as he gets to work on time?

He can definitely stay with you and if he does the discount is better - he will have to wait until he is there to book. For the extra holiday discount he would have to wait even later.

I am not sure about the dining discounts - my daughter has never utilized that.

Thanks for your reply!

Does anyone know if each room is a seperate reservation? Our family will need at least 2 rooms.

No, As I recall there is a limit on the number of rooms you can book per reservation, so that tells me multiple rooms can be had on one reservation.

That limit of 5 is only for rooms he books for family and friends that he is not staying with. He can have as many reservations in his name as he wants. I am not sure if the second room would count as one though.
