We are going to The fort wilderness campground for 6 nights. There are so many dinning choices I do not know where to begin??? So I am looking around for Table service meals.

We are going to (just 3 days of theme parks)
Epcot (thinking Tempura Kiku)
MGM ( 50's Prime time )
MK (???)
Where are the more kid appropriate places to go for TS? All Over disney resorts? I have 5 kids so I want them to be comfortable.

any and all suggestions welcome.

Also I would love to do a character meal
Thanks In advance :)

Could you tell us a little more about the ages of your five kids in order to give you a good character meal. In the Magic Kingdom I would say to eat at the Crystal Palace the food is really good their and this is a character dining with Pooh and Friends! We loved it on our May trip. I would also suggest for you the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge this place is fun fo rall ages!!

50's Primetime was alot of fun, your kids would really get a kick out of it. No characters, but the CM were a great substitute.:rotfl2: At MK, Crystal Palace is also alot of fun and the seating is spacious, probably because of the glass ceilings. The characters there are Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger. There was a singing waiter at one of the tables at dinner the evening we went and he was entertaing the children at the table next to us. The characters march around the room with all or the children and sing a celebration song. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is another great restaurant for children of all ages. The characters there are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. the Contemporary is a short walk or monorail ride from the MK. Whispering Canyon Cafe was alot of fun, but if you want characters, the others are great. Your children would probably enjoy the character meals alot better than WCC

need to know ages what they like,,,etc....

there's a family style character @ Liberty tavern, but i think that may cost 2 credits,,,,

you can use DDP for fantasmic dining experience,,,brown derby (costs 2 credits), hollywood and vine, mamma melrose's....

My girls are 8, 8 and 9 and one of their all time favorite TS meals this last trip was Whispering Canyon Cafe. They get to be as loud as they want, the food was great (we all got the skillet meal with ribs, chicken and more), they loved the ketchup roundup and the horse race around the restaurant. We will do this one again. They also liked the 50's Cafe, I didn't love it as much, but they did and the food was good. Their favorite character meal was the Crystal Palace at MK with Pooh and friend and we did the Ohana breakfast at the Poly with Lilo and Stitch. Both places and good characters. The Liberty Tree Tavern has great character interaction at MK, with Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and the chipmunks, but I was not impressed with the food. Hope this helps! Have a great time.

We love Crystal Palace. My kids are 13 15 & 19 and sometimes picky eaters. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere os a lot of fun. We ate there twice on our recent 10 day visit.
