Being a Massachusetts native, I've been to Cape Cod many times. But I live close enough to have never needed to take a vacation to the Cape - therefore never thinking about a hotel or any concrete vaca plans. We always just did day trips, and we haven't been all over the cape.

Well this year we've decided to do a special birthday weekend trip for my best friend. :woohoo: I'm a little lost, though. Some advice please?

What area of the cape would you recommend? One thing that is a definite MUST is parasailing on the ocean. So we'd want to stay on a beach that offers that.
What hotel/resort would you recommend? We want a really nice seaside resort or hotel. There's going to be 6 of us altogether, and I'd like to get a suite rather than 2 separate rooms, but if that's not possible I can take other suggestions as well.
What other things are there to do at whatever place you would recommend? What are the best restaurants in that area?
Is there any really big fun thing I could do or set up for a birthday surprise?

Any and all suggestions welcome! Thanks! :goodvibes

My DH and I just got back from and wonderful B&B in Chatham, we liked it so much in the winter we are going back in the summer. One of the magazines we got in our room was Cape Cod travel guide and the website is www.capecodtravelguide.com. We found our B&B by just googling. I found when researching our summer trip every hotel/motel/B&B has a website. Have a great time on your vacation.
