Help planning breakfast and park

We are going to Disney for the first time in many years this May and are staying at AoA. I want to have breakfast one day at Toppolinos and then try to be in time for rope drop at epcot. Right now skyliner does not start until 9:00 and I'm not sure if that would give us enough time for an 11:00 opening. Especially since they seem to be opening parks earlier than the stated times. I'm not certain when the busses start running and whether they can take us to a different resort. We also will have a car but if we want to go directly to the park after breakfast, can we leave the car at the Riviera all day? What do y'all think would work best? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to temper expectations, Topolino's is the hardest to get reservation at WDW right now, so getting the exact time you need to arrive at Epcot at rope drop seems unlikely, unless you have a very long stay and are planning this toward the end of your stay. But if you do get the reservation, I don't see why it would be an issue. We were at Riviera last August and ate at Topolino's at 8:30, were done around 9:45, got in line for the skyliner and were one of the first on when it took off for Epcot a little after 10.

You will need to lyft/uber or drive to Riviera though. The 9am start time is for the HS line (on a standard 10am open day; obviously will be earlier if HS opens earlier). That will get you to Caribbean Beach, but that is a looooong walk to Riviera. The Epcot line does not start running until after 10 on an 11am open day.

We just did this. Lyft-ed to Riviera for an 8:45 breakfast, then Skyliner-ed to EPCOT from Riviera. Was there in PLENTY of time for opening. However, like the PP stated....getting the reservation is no easy task. You may need to consider which is more important to you...Topolino's or Rope Drop because they may not be able to both be achieved.
