Help..picture posting

I know this has been told before, but I tried the following and all I got was a little square with an x in it...I went to snapfish, right clicked on the pic and copied the url, clicked on the reply to thread here, then clicked on the insert image picture (looks like a mountain graphic) and pasted the url. Then just a dumb ole square with an x. I'm so disapointed. Help experts please!

I use www.photobucket.com for posting pictures on websites. They allow the hotlink, I dont know if snapfish does. When you use photobucket, it will give you 3 url link options below the picture. I use the 3rd options for this site.
