I'll be staying in Polynesian resort for 2 nights and after many hours of reading through this forum I changed my reservation and added dining plan. That means I'll do a few sitdown dinners. Could you please help me pick:

Saturday night:
Grand Floridian Cafe
Kona Cafe
The wave of American Flavours

I assume all of the are worth 1 credit, right?

I picked these 3 restaurants because they are on monorail so I assume that I'll be able to easily access them from my Poly resort. Which one would be better? My wife kind of like just a bit more "Grand Floridian".
I really wanted to try Ohana, but not available for my night :-(.

Second sit down meal will be in Magic Kingdom resort. I picked Libery Tree Tavern. Another available option was "The Plaza restaurant". Did I made a better pick?

Any other comments, suggestions are very welcome. I am newbie to all of this and I am trying to make vacation for my family as memorable as possible.

Our kids are 6 (girl) and 15 (boy).

Grand Floridian and Kona are both good choices. We're not big fans of The Wave. The food was just okay and there's very little atmosphere. I would also suggest getting a little adventurous and trying for Boma at AKL. Generally speaking the resort restaurants are better than the park restaurants (with the exception of Epcot). There is also the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge. which is a quick (and fun) boat ride from the MK. The food there is not exceptional, but many people like the antics.

We just love Kona Cafe. I think Liberty Tavern is a great choice also. Boma, Italy, and Le Cellier are also our favorites.

I would go with Kona Cafe. The bread and macadamia nut butter there is great and they have amazing desserts. My kids ages 5-12 absolutely love it! Also, keep checking back to see if anything opens up at O'hanas, sometimes people cancel their ressies and something may open up. I recently tried for two weeks off and on and finally snagged a 5:15 adr for an upcoming trip.

Thank you everybody very much for help! I kept checking reservations website every 30min or so and got reservation for Ohana restaurant! I am very happy about that. By the way, as per your recommendations I had Kona Cafe reserved, but when Ohana become available and I booked it, and at the same time Kona Cafe reservation was automatically canceled.

Liberty Tree was a god choice. We love it for both lunch and dinner.

We love Kona. We're eating there next week, and can't wait! It's too bad that O'hana s booked, but Kona is definitely the next best thing. I actually think that the service at Kona is better than O'hana and the food is delicious. I love their strip steak and their fondue.

Out of those 3, I'd pick Kona. It's always a good meal and good service!
