There will be myself, DH, DS 4, DD 2 - not sure what would fit for the whole family...we have LeCeller's for lunch but I really wanted dinner (sold out?)..We ate at Biergarten last year and it was great! But I want to try something new...I was looking at Tutto Italian, Chef's, Teppan Edo, Coral Reef. (dinner) or keep my lunch at Le Cellier's? anyone have any good/bad experiences or suggestions? Thanks!

Its difficult without knowing what sort of food you like-and more importantly, what sort the children will like!:cutie: I really enjoyed the lunch menu at Le Cellier, and if you're paying OOP it is cheaper. DFi and I always do San Angel, which we think is great, but may not be up your street. It is a great atmosphere inside though, and your children would probably love it! Garden Grill was great when we ate there but that was 3 years ago, so others can give you a more up-to-date opinion;) and GG is a character meal so your kids may like that.
Apart from that, we tend to "graze around the world" so mainly do quick service (mmm, patisserie, school bread...)

I agree it is hard to advise someone without knowing what they like.

(personally I don't think there is a bad restaurant in Epcot)

So I would say look at all the menus from every place and decide which is best suited for everyone....and go there!!

Happy eating!!

You can't really go wrong with Le Celier. I've been there for lunch many times and it still feels like a dinner since you leave so stuffed!!

I think Tutto Italia is amazing and if you felt the need to switch I would go here. I think it's better than the other restaurants you listed.

What about Via Napoli? I haven't eaten there but I've heard from friends and family that the pizza was delicious and it sounds like your kids would enjoy that.

We ate at La Hacienda last week and it was great. We had a 7:30 reservation and were just finishing up at 9:00 so we had a great view of Illuminations. I highly recommend it, but next time I'd make a reservation for an hour before the fireworks because they were pretty quick getting our food out.

We've always enjoyed Tutto, Coral Reef and Tokyo Dining. You can't go wrong though with Le Cellier!

I agree that pretty much any place in Epcot will have pretty good food. I'd vote Coral Reef though so the kids can watch the fish.

My kids are a little older, but we all enjoyed dinner at Chefs de France in July, we like Teppan Edo (the little show is entertaining too), Tutto Italia was yummy. I'm looking forward to trying Via Napoli. We ate lunch at Coral Reef and that was good too.

I agree the show at Teppan Edo is worth the price alone. Also we love Rose and Crown for lunch, and if it's warm you can sit on the patio.

You should try the new Mexican place on the water! I wanna try it myself! I'm sure it's good plus it has a great view-and an ever better view if u eat during Illuminations!

La Hacienda is AWESOME! The best Mexican food we've had, great view of Epcot, and killer margaritas. My kids do love Le Cellier though!

Wow really! Awesome, I am SOLD! haha Really gotta try it now! Glad to hear it was enjoyable!

If you have never eaten at Le Cellier, I would definately keep it. We have such a hard time getting a reservation there that it is perhaps every 3rd trip we actually get in. I love the lunch menu, nearly the same as dinner, but about 30 percent cheaper. The atmosphere and other things everyone loves at Le Cellier is just as good mid-day. That being said, we also really like Chef's, Rose and Crown in England, La Hacienda in Mexico, Biergarten.

Thanks everyone for your replies....I would love to go to Mexico but it dosen't agree with my husbands stomach..lol. I think I may just keep the lunch at LeCellier's and go back for dinner at the various counter services...thanks again for you input!

The Epcot CS restaurants are quite good. Don't forget about Sunshine Seasons in the Land. Also, if you're looking for a character meal, the Garden Grill is a great way to see Mickey. We prefer that character meal to Chef Mickey's.

Our favorite Epcot TS sites are Teppan Edo and Le Cellier.

Thanks...I was thinking about the Japanese habachi, but not sure if the kids would like the food...I know they would get a kick out of the chef though...it's something to think about, thanks!

I would recommend Tutto Italia, Teppan Edo, and Coral Reef. I enjoy all three of these more than Le'Cellier. :thumbsup2

This isn't on your list, but have you looked into the Garden Grill?
It is a character meal, located on the bottom floor of the Land Pavalion.
The food is spectacular - it is a family style dinner with beef strip loin, turkey breast, the fish of the day, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. I remember just LOVING it.
And the character experience we got was great! We got to spend lots of time with each of the characters, and the whole rotating restaurant thing is sweet. You look up and suddenly the whole restaurant rotated without you even noticing!
I would definitely look into this because it was a great experience for us! :)

Via Napoli in Italy; you won't be disappointed. Pizza is excellent, as was everything else.

We ate at LeCellier last year for lunch was awesome! I'd for sure eat there if I was you.

We also loved Coral Reef & this is a must do for my DH.

Thanks for all your replies...my head is still spinning on making ADR's 5 -6months in advance..lol. Lots to think about!
