Hi all,
I am trying to plan our trip for Dec and need some TS suggestions for MK. We will be on DDP. I am not generally one for many TS meals at WDW but we are on the ddp because it suits the rest of our group and we are staying with my parents on their DVC points at OKW so we'll do whatever they want.
It looks like The Plaza & Tony's are our only non-character TS options. I like the Plaza's menu but it seems to similar to CS-type food and my picky DH will likely be eating chicken sandwhich's most meals so I rather he have more options if we are at TS. But I am worried Tony's may be to 'fancy' or take too long (compared to Plaza). Any thoughts on this?
I would be up for going to a monorail resort for TS but fear that could take a long time. Kona looks like it suits us menu-wise but again I am worried that it may be too 'fancy'.
**By fancy I mean queit and not meant for people to be showing up in Mickey T-shirts with somewhat dirty & loud little kids. I really never noticed what was acceptble for TS before, but then again it is DISNEY WORLD so maybe I don't have to be so worried??? For some reason Tony's seems more upscale then other TS I've been to and I didn't know if the standard would be different at a resort hotel as opposed to one in a park**
Anyway, any guess as to how much time I would have to budget for a resort TS lunch or dinner?
Any tips appreciated!
