H,

Decided to post a poll. Please post reason for choice! Here's some background.

Mom & I will have to go to Orlando for a canine companions for independence interview sometime this year. The interview will take a whole day so why not spend a few days @ Disney? I'll have 73 points to use. I'm thinking @ least 3 days. Hopefully Sunday through Wednesday. No heavy parks just a place to relax & have a little fun (night shows, eating, sleeping in ect.) Don't really care where to stay. Would want a studio, HA, non smoking.

For relaxing and not a huge park hopping trip, I vote for Saratoga Springs. Yes, it's my Home and I'm partial, but the pool is beautiful and the spa facilities there are incredible. There are a lot of dining options a short walk or boat or bus ride away at Downtown Disney as well as major nightlife. We had a studio that faced the back canal area and we never heard a pin drop.
Have fun and let us know what you decide!

Sounds like a win-win situation no matter which resort you choose! But I voted for BWV since I really enjoy the Epcot resorts (gee, can you tell by my signature? ) and I see that you've never been there before.

Do let us know what you decide, and have fun planning! :D

Okw the bigger rooms - but heck in a studio you really can't see that much difference.

OKW does have 2 queen beds instead of a queen and a sleeper sofa.

Having the two queens is nice when you each want your own bed - however, having the sofa is nice for relaxing in the room.

I would go with BWV because you have the choice of being near lots of entertainment and food options (for your eating and shows) - or relaxing in the quiet.

My choice would be BWV Standard View. Uses less points, close to Epcot & MGM. And you haven't been there yet!

I voted for BWV (try for Boardwalk view, then standard, then preferred). SSR would be my second choice because it is the only one I have not tried. I would definately try something new though!

You haven't been to OKW yet and it is sooo great for relaxing. You could ask for proximity to Hospitality House and you would be close to all the main stuff like Olivia's and the main pool. Also Bldg 60's have elevators:)

Have fun choosing!

Try OKW. Very relaxing. Largest studios. Fewest points. Have fun!

Another OKW vote. If you were wanting more activity, I would suggest BWV, BCV, or SSR, but for the trip you described, I would strongly suggest OKW. If you have never stayed there, you will love it! Just be sure to request HA for medical reasons.

tinkgrl,

I voted for BWV. SO much to do even without going to the parks and a large choice of restauraunts with the Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach and Swan and Dolphin.

We also love OKW but it is quiet and removed from activities. I guess it depends on how you want to spend your time.

Enjoy!
