Hi,
We are a party of six. We are bringing an extra child with us. She already has tickets w/o dining that we are using for her. She has special needs and literally can not eat anything at WDW. (I know that the chef's will try, but she is basically on a liquid diet that I bring from home).

So, we want her to sit with us, of course, but she will not be on the dining plan. Do you think we will have any problem with this?

She has a GAC card.

Thanks!

If she is not eating I don't see how they could have a problem with it. I would maybe have them note on your ADR then hopefully you won't have to explain the situation more than once. I think everyone would understand. Besides I know a lot of people that take their kids into places and they just sit while the parents eat shouldn't be any different. Hope you all have a great trip!

At the restaurants, please bear in mind that the character meals charge an "entertainment fee" for anyone sitting at the table who does not partake in the food. I think it's $5 or so. Other than that, I don't see any problems there.

As far as purchasing the package and checking into your resort, however, the official rules are that everyone staying in the room must be on the same package. While I would hope and imagine this could be waived in circumstances such as yours, I have no idea what official Disney policy is. Your best bet would be to call or e-mail them directly. Best of luck!
