Help - parchment stuck to iron on

Hi. I was just making a t-shirt for my dad for father's day. After ironing on the transfer (dark transfer) I removed the parchment paper but there is an area in the center of the iron on where the parchment stuck to the transfer and didn't come off. Not sure what I should do. Does anyone know if I wash it if it will wash off? I'm using the ebay dark transfers. I've done several other shirts and not had a problem. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Disaster has been avoided. I was able to just soak the parchment off with a damp cloth.
