Help!! Panicking about vacation weight gain...

I was on WW during my last trip to WDW . We went for 5 days. I brougt those mini WW snack bars for 2 pts each and ate those when I needed a snack. I also let my kids share a counter service adult meal and I would order a kids meal, give them the fruit and I would eat what was left of the kids meal. Also ate cereal in the room for breakfast. Some meals I splurged on but with all the walking I wound up losing 5 lbs when I weighed in back home. Don't worry your WW training will help you make the right choices or let you know when to cut back.

I would go through the menus and pick a couple of must have meals...then go through and pick some really healthy meals that are offered. If you know ahead of time what you are going to order from a certain restaurant, it can help curve cravings..like "ok, a salad for lunch- but for dinner I am having steak, ok, salad worth it"

and for fast foods, most places do offer salads, but make sure what you are ordering b/c some of them have more fat and calories than the hamburgers!

Congrats on how far you have come and I wish you a good time!

Here are the table service restaurants we are doing:

-Liberty Tree Tavern dinner (MK)
-Biergarten dinner (Epcot)
-Hollywood & Vine character breakfast (DHS)
-1900 Park Fare dinner (Grand Floridian)
-Boma dinner (AK Lodge)
-Crystal Palace dinner (MK)
-Chef Mickey's breakfast (Contemporary)

Also, CS locations for lunch at each park. The day of arrival, we will be getting to the Pop Century to get our tickets and check in at aroun 11 or 11:30 AM so planning to eat lunch at the food court there, then head to Magic Kingdom for the afternoon and a 5PM dinner ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern, then SpectroMagic that evening if the kids can handle it. The other 4 days, we will be going to a different park each day (all 4, no park hopper, so a second day at MK and the other 3 we will get to once each).

Maybe that can help people give me ideas about what to grab from each buffet? I did read that there is excellent salmon at Crystal Palace, and I love salmon so this sounded great to me! Also, they all have salads and veggies, so if I stick to mostly that I should be okay. Anything I should not miss though, and if you could have one dessert at each of these restaurants, which would you choose? I do like to allow myself a sweet treat on vacation, and one after dinner seems all right for me.

Thanks again,
Bonnie
