Looks like everything else is falling into place. Arriving at LAX on July 19 at 11:05am. 2 of us, we would like to get to Candy Cane Inn as quickly as possible, because want to get to parks. What would you suggest? REally need help on this one. Don't want to make any stops before our hotel if possible.

We have always found the quickest and cheapest way to get from LAX to DL is to rent a car. It does sit there most of the time but we also find it convenient to have a car occasionally. I have found some amazing deals for cars on the internet...car rentals around LAX seem to be particularly inexpensive for some reason. The Candy Cane Inn has lots of free parking too.

Yep. Rent a car. Even if you never take it out of hte hotel parking lot it will be cheaper than a one way transport, I bet. And, you are on your own schedule.

It's just myself (mom) and my son. I don't want to rent a car just want to get to hotel and back. Please advise other than renting a car. Thanks so much.

It really depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for fastest, you might try tony the limo king. Its going to run you about $75-150 each way. It will be the fastest and most direct. If you are looking for cheaper, and still somewhat fast, go with Mickeys shuttle (I posted a link for you yesterday in another thread) or Super shuttle. Might have 3-4 stops before your hotel, but we've have good luck with them. From there you are looking at the express bus. Its not the quickest, but might be the cheapest (www.airportbus.com).

Oh, a cab. You could take a cab. You are looking at $85-100 for that. You might consider doing a cab or limo on the way to DL, then use a cheap method (like the express bus) to return to the airport.

We dont typically fly into LAX, because of the time and distance involved, so I can't give you much first hand experience. The one time we flew into LAX we used the express bus. But, that was 6 years ago, and we didnt know about the other options at the time.

When we went last Spring, my sister arrived at LAX before us (and left bofore us) and hired one of the shuttles they have at the airport. It brought them right to our hotel, which was on Katella Blvd. She said it was a little expensive but worth it. She also was able to call them to pick them up when they left.

She did a search on line and booked it, one way, on line and didn't have any problems at all.
