We are only at Disneyland on Friday, November 18th. I'm expecting big crowds. But DS is a HUGE Star War fan so what are the must dos? Are there fast passes for Star Tours? Is that the first thing to get?
What about DS participating in the light saber duel? I thought I read somewhere that you sign up now? And I thought I read about a Disney Visa meet and greet? Where is this located?
Ugh, help please!! We love Disneyland and been able to go often but our last visit was 3 years ago and DS wanted nothing to do with Star Wars.

Get a Hyperspace Mountain FP before Star Tours. The Visa Meet & Greet is inside Launch Bay (formerly Innoventions), it's a greet with Kylo Ren from 4-7pm. There are also greets with Chewie and Kylo Ren during regular hours, so if you don't want to come back in the afternoon, just do that greet earlier.

I'd get a FP for HSM and ride ST or vice versa based on standby wait times when you arrive. Yes you sign up for Jedi Training. The location is a little hidden, as you walk towards Autopia there's an extra ramp from Launch Bay, there's a sign there that says signups on it. Go there with your child and pick the show time you want. We went on a Sunday in July at 10:15, the first few shows were gone but we wanted a later one anyway. FYI the meet n greet is for the visa credit card only, not debit card. Lots of fun things to look at in Launch Bay plus the characters in there.

Download the free DLR app. That will help you keep track of wait times, FP times (or if any are still available), character M&G locations, etc. This will help you make the most of your time.

On our last trip my 4 year olds favorite part of the day was seeing the Storm Troopers. I didn't see any mention of a meet in greet with them but just happen to run into them in front of the tomorrow land gift shop by HSM. I would ask a cast member how to find them or maybe someone else has more details. They were so interactive and we got great pictures.

The Kylo Ren meet & greet at Launch Bay has been replaced with Darth Vader.

The Storm Troopers don't do a m & g, but they patrol Tomorrowland at different times throughout the day.

Is your son under 12? If so he can do Jedi Training Academy. I would recommend signing up first thing as the line gets long. But you might be able to squeeze in a ride on Star Tours first, then grab HSM fast pass, then sign up. Especially if you arrive right at rope drop. Or do Jedi sign up first. Your going to have to wait somewhere. :smooth:
