Hey everyone, we are coming on August 1 and 2. I need help with two questions. First, what are the current single rider lines at each park?

Second, what are the parade routes and closed viewing areas for the various shows/fireworks in Disneyland (not as focused on DCA)? I’m having trouble piecing it all together to visualize what parts of the park will be packed/routes closed at what times. It’ll also help me to understand the best rides to attack during those times. We have a dining package that will have us watch the first Fantasmic on August 1. We also plan to catch Paint the Night one night. Otherwise, we’ll probably skip the rest to go on rides.

I know the second question is probably a little trickier. If there is another thread that covers either, feel free to point me to it. Thanks!

The entire parade route is closed during the parades, but there are crosswalks open in between floats. Main Street is packed during fireworks but, again, there are crosswalks open. Cavalcades are short and don't draw a lot of people, so wait times for attractions aren't significantly shorter.

Paint the Night is at 8:50 and 10:50 pm - avoid Main Street, Small World.
Fantasmic is at 9:05 and 10:30 pm - avoid Rivers of America & New Orleans Square for the first show
Fireworks are at 9:35 - avoid Main Street, Small World, Rivers of America, Star Wars Galaxy Edge.

I'm not sure of the exact timing but most of Fantasyland and Toontown close around 8:30 pm and re-open around 10 pm for fireworks.

Are you familiar with the parade route? It is the purple line below. The arrows indicated the direction of the first parade. It goes in the opposite direction for the second parade.
The red circles with X are the areas that are closed. Besides the entire parade route, the red circles without the X are the other areas that are very crowded for entertainment.

You could do Tomorrowland - Space Mountain, Autopia, Nemo, Buzz, Astro Orbiter, Nemo
You could take the train from Tomorrowland to New Orleans Square and try to ride Haunted Mansion, Pooh, Tianas (if open) or go in the opposite direction try for Indy. That area is dark, very congested and difficult to navigate during Fantasmic.
