What ride did Buzz Lightyear replace at WDW?

It replaced Taking Flight in 1998 I believe...

Dream Flight.....and I think before that it was called Take Flight (but I'm not sure)....and before that was If you had Wings. I'm not sure if that is all or not but I know right before Buzz was Dream Flight. I used to LOVE that ride. I really miss it!!!!!

My dad has a DVD of the whole If you had wings attraction. He go all these DVDs on http://www.extinct-attractions-club.com/ There's five pages of DVDs for sale ranging from $10-$25......most of them around $15.

If You Had Wings?

The first ride in that building was If You Had Wings, sponsored by Eastern Airline. That closed in June of 1987, when Eastern was no longer the sponsor. It re-opened a If You Could Fly(with the Eastern references removed) about a month later. That closed in early 1989, when Delta became the sponsor and the ride was renovated to be Dreamflight.
When Dreamflight went out in 1996 when Delta left as sponsor. It stayed open for about 2 years as Dreamflight without a sponsor before being replaced by Buzz.
