Help on night before Cruise

I booked a cruise for entire family, 11 of us to do Oct 31 2009 Western. I know from previous cruises you really should try to go down the day/night before, less stress on cruise day. But I was wondering if anyone has suggestion of where to stay for all of us that would be at a resonable price?? Better to go to Cocoa Beach or stay in Orlando than get transportation from there? Any suggestions from all knowlegable members would be helpful, I know 21 months to go but it will go by fast right
