Next trip to OKW in early Dec. bringing a 2,4,and 5 yo. Since main pool will be closed, looking to request a building near bus stop as well as short walk to a quiet pool. Are 19, 41, 53, or 56 my best bets to request?? Any input appreciated!!

First off, I would suggest buildings 30 and higher. With 3 young ones, you might want them to have access to the bathroom without having to go through the master bedroom. For this reason, I would probably eliminate building #19 from your consideration. In addition, this building is smoking optional.

41 would be an excellent location, right beside the Turtle Pond pool. This is a smoking-optional building so you might want to also consider #42 and #43. 44 is right where the bus turns around, so you might want to avoid this one due to noise.

The map I have shows that buildings 55 & 56 in the South Point area are both adjacent to the pool in this area. 56 might be the best selection of the two, as it is closer to the South Point bus stop.

We were in 43 last year & 40 this year, both were close to the Turtle Pond pool. 40 was a little closer to the bus stop but the view wasn't great, 43 has a great pond view. 41 is definitely a smoking building, our room in 40 faced that building and smokers were always out on the patios/balconies (I guess they don't want the room stunk up either! ;) ).

55 - 56 would be nice if you could guaranteed the pool area - but the other part is close to the street and the buses - they made alot of noise climbing up the hill - right in front of 55 - and believe me you don't want crying kids waking up because of the noise.

55 is a bit further from the bus stop - but it is next to the pool - has a great lake to look out on for your relaxation and with 3 kids you are gonna need it....

my brother stayed in 20 and loved it.

ask for something near a bus stop and a pool - if you request just a building or two and they are full - the room assigner will put where he wants - not necessary something you will like.

pick which you want - with your kids - are you going to spending more time in the pools - then get near a pool - how time in the parks - then near the bus stop.

however nothing is guaranteed.

Buildings 52, 53, 54, 55 and 56 are your best bests for being close to a pool and a bus stop both. Building 20 isn't too bad either, others you give up one or the other. I would put on my request first non-smoking then buildings 52 thru 56.

One more thing with buildings 52--56 you do not have to cross a street to get to the pool or the bus stop just a parking lot with 3 little ones that might be a good consideration.

Thanks for all the great advice. Spiceycat-good point regarding pool vs. parks. My kids are fish, but with the unpredicatablity of Dec. weather, maybe proximity to the pool won't be an issue.
