Help! Not your normal "loop request"

hoping someone can help... here's the scoop.

long story, short... we planned a week long trip to the Fort and WDW with family (my DAunt and her family). Well, a few things came up, they could go, they couldn't, they could go, they couldn't. Then, they could go but could no longer get a ressie at FW, so they settled for Tropical Palms. Tonite, DA snags a ressie for March 10th through the 17th!!!!!! Cancel Tropical Palms, they are FW bound

Anywho, they now have a preferred, full hook up, pet loop (which they need)and we have a non-preferred, full hook up. How do you suggest we request to be placed as close as possible? My family will actually arrive a day earlier for an eight night stay. Can we just both send FW the situation and see if they will accomodate us with loops closest together? Or should we each send a verrrrrrry polite request for a loop that is next to each other? Any suggestions? When should I send the request? We arrive on March 9th and they arrive on the 10th.

Call back now and have the reservations "linked"; i.e. have your reservation number noted on thier reservation and vice versa.

Four days prior to the first arrival (which would be the 5th) fax a request to the Fort Wilderness Site Assigner, Reception Outpost Fax 407-824-3508. Ask that you be placed as close together as possible, whicle you understand that you will be in different loops. Again, note both reservation numbers.

But, as always remember that it is jsut a request, nothing is guaranteed.

You can also ask to be in the same loop when you request that your ressies be linked. You may not be put in the same loop, but you might. From your post, it sounds like you don't need the pet loop. That's OK. They don't add the pet fee until you check in. You won't be charged the extra $5/night but your DA will at check-in.

Actually, it's not just the pet loop butthey have both reserved different level of accomidations. The DA has a preferred site while mouseketeer_mom only has a full hook up. A request for an upgrade will be ignored by the site assigner.
