Help! No Idea How to Search for Points!!

I am in the planning stages now for a trip to DW [dates removed by moderator] unless anyone says moving dates would save $$$. Trying to see how I search or Post for point rental - [specific information removed my moderator] - any help is most appreciated!!!!

You have to complete your registration process in order to see our Points Rent/Trade board. If you haven't received the email to confirm your registration please see the thread stickied at the top of this page for help.

Anything regarding points rental must be on our Rent/Trade board so I have edited your post to fit our guidelines.

Not necessarily. There are specific posting minimums and requirements for an owner to offer their points, but as far as I know anyone can contact them to rent those points regardless of post count/history. However to send a PM you must have 10 posts.

there is a rent/trade board down in the DVC forum area which offers rental by individuals (not disney) for onsite timeshare resorts. you need to be signed in to see it. please read the FAQ as there are several rules specific to that area.

since DVC is a timeshare, be aware that you do not get daily mousekeeping when booking through an owner. you may not get any sort of cancellation policy. all studios except for OKW include 1 queen bed and 1 pullout sofabed - OKW studios have 2 queens.

the other thing about DVC being a timeshare is that owners often book early - 10-11 months in advance. if you start looking 4-5 months out, availability may be very limited. sometimes owners won't respond to you as you are not asking a reasonable question.
