I'm freaking out a little. I'm tacking on a few extra days after a business trip. For a hotel - I know that I want to pay as little as possible (only sleeping there) and it's very important to me that I can walk to the parks. Staying March 6th-8th. I've had my eye on the candycane inn or camelot. Now I'm ready to book and I've looked at about 6 hotels and they are all completely sold out that weekend. I have no idea where to stay! Tried CCI, Camelot, Best Western, Hojo...a couple others that I can't remember. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

It's because of this : Fri-Sun, March 6-8, 2015: Natural Products Expo (Anaheim Convention Center)

It is a HUGE expo and hotels sell out months in advance typically especially the closer it gets. I checked on Orbitz from the 6th - 8th and nothing in walking distance is available - closest is garden grove or further currently.

You might be out of luck in this case unless you are willing to drive or stay further.

I am also looking at Feb 20th weekend and not finding anything. :(
Anyone know what is happening that weekend? :confused3

Thanks everyone. Just updated my post to include my dates (march 6-8). I'm so bummed! This may may mean no trip. :( Out of town and no interest/not willing to rent a car. I've checked everywhere and they are all sold out.

What about the brand new SPRING HILL SUITES?

Corner of Harbor and Katella.

Have you tried calling the places you're interested in?
I know sometimes the internet shows full when there really might be an room open.

If I were you I'd start calling places and ask if they have something open.

The other idea is to keep looking or calling as the date approaches. There are some people that book two locations near Disneyland and make their final decision closer to their trip.

You might be lucky enough to find a cancellation for your dates this way.

Good luck

These two maps may help you with other hotels in the area. They're older maps but it's all I have.

Motel 6 was recently updated, and isn't a far walk. It's $99.99/night, and available 3/6-3/8 with 2 queen beds.

Super 8 on Disneyland Drive is $99.00/night.

Ramada Main Gate North is $149.00/night.

Days Inn at 1111 S. Harbor is $92.65/night.

Days Inn at 2200 S. Harbor is $104.95/night.

Edited to Add: Though these aren't the closest places, they all have your dates open!

Thanks for these! Are any of them walkable?

They are all a little bit of a walk, but less than 20 minutes, I'd imagine. One of my coworkers stayed at the Super 8, and said it wasn't a bad walk at all (I think she said maybe 10 minutes?). The Motel 6 is near one of the parking garages (so you can catch a tram bus from there). There's also a transportation system called "ART" (Anaheim Resort Transportation, I think it stands for). ART is like $3 or $4 for a day pass.

We stayed at Ramada Maingate and walked each day. Feels long at the end of the day, but we did it with 5 kids!

Trivago has Camelot Inn for those dates @$179 but better hurry only showing one room.

I booked it - thanks! Still may keep my eyes out for something cheaper (over $400 for both nights) but I'm glad I got something so close. :yay:

Park Vue Inn has availability for your dates. They are right across the street from the Harbor Blvd entrance and have received good reviews. You can't book them on the travel sites, instead go to their website www.parkvueinn.com. Good luck!

I've only stayed on property, so I don't really have experience with the Good Neighbor hotels. However, I've heard a lot of people recommend the Anabella Hotel in the past. I'm pretty sure they have vacancies for your June dates.
