Help!!! New to Universal !

Really need your help! Hubby surprised me with a trip to Disney in March! I would like to surprise him with a day at Universal. I have heard of shuttles from Disney or a bus from Downtown Disney. THAT is the extent of what I know. I feel some pressure since I don 't know anything. Thanks ahead of time!
