Help Needed From SIMS Makin' Magic Experts

Please tell me, how does a SIM aquire the ability to spook, levitate, do magic tricks, teleport, hot foot, hand buzzer and extinguish?

Is there anything "special" about climbing the bean stalk, other than stealing the cans of beans while the giant sleeps?
