Help Needed for newbie with Transportation

Hi, I have found these Threads invaluable as I am in middle of booking 1st ever trip to Disney, Our Airline lands at Sanford, I have been priced by Dreams Unlimited for Disney Transportation from Orlando, is that only International or do they do it from sanford too? I am a little confused on this issue as only says Orlando on details on email.

You can will need limo or a cab from Sanford to Orlando.

I have gone by http://www.orlandocarriers.com and http://www.transportation2disney.com. The first was good but not private. The latter was private and was only a little more expensive (based on 4) than the first, but had excellent benefits such as the grocery stop, the extras you can add, the driver was amazing (we moved hotels mid holiday and two runs back to Sanford on different days)- I highly recommed the latter. Good to note that Thomas Cook (at least used to) use Orlando Carriers but charge nearly double that booking direct with the company.

Hi thanks for your comments really appreciated them the prices on the later site of sanford to all star is 210 is this an american site is this sterling or dollars do you know.

The prices are in $$$$$.

So that means a family of four can pay $200 (return to Disney in a shared van with Orlando Carriers) or $210 (for private and a free stop, etc with the other). So really good prices. Both companies and more can be found http://www.orlandosanfordairport.com/taxi_limo_shuttle.asp. Hope this helps more.

We used Tiffany Town Cars to POFQ last year, it was $190 return + tip, payable on arrival (just tip on way back). They were really good, driver waiting for us , shopping stop & quick relaxing journey. Only problem we had was driver (sub contracted) on way back went the long way around to avoid toll charges.

Stangely enough, we did go back a funny way (and so did the other part of the party a few days later with same company). We didn't mind this long way and it didn't feel any longer since we were chatting with our driver.

Thanks Lisa, We did mind because we like to be at the airport early & DS & myself suffer car sickness. We ended up quite far back in the queue & it stresses me thinking we might not be kept together. If I'd have known I would have booked for an earlier pick up. This time I will E mail them & offer to pay toll charges.
