I have two adult stray cats and two kittens (who are absolutely adorable by the way). Anyways we are keeping the stray adults but can't really keep the two kittens. I have a home lined up for them but there is one little problem. They are very skittish and run away everytime DH and I try to come near them. We feed them all and the two adults will come up to us and let us pet them but the kittens seem to act afraid even after seeing their mama and grandma be comfortable with us. My question is....how do we catch them long enough so we can give them a good new home??
Edited to add that they are almost 3 mos old. We really need to get them away from their mother as she is still trying to nurse them (they also eat cat food) and it is taking its toll on the mother...she is soo skinny even after eating quite a bit and she is barely a year old so I do not think that even she knows better.
