Hi all,

We just got back from a nice spring break trip and some plans got changed and we're going Memorial Day weekend for a quickie and what will be our last trip for over a year. (I feel withdrawal symptoms already!)

We'll get in late Friday night, have a full day Sat. and Sun. at the parks and until 3 or 4pm Monday, too.

I hate planning short trips and am freaking out! Please advise!

FRIDAY: Check into Yacht Club. If time allows, DH,DS5 and I will walk to see Illuminations from somewhere on property. DS16 and DD19 will probably go to MK until it closes.

SATURDAY: Go to EPCOT all day. Main objective: Ride Soarin, Test Track, possibly Mission Space (for me, DH, DD19 and DS16 I know will go). PS for dinner at 7:30 Rose and Crown. Will try to outside Illuminations table.

SUNDAY: Go to MK all day. Main objective: survival! Try to get in the 3 mountains, and whatever other rides we want to go on. PS for dinner at CRT at 4:15. (For some unknown reason they are only taking dinner ressies until 5:45 that day) See Spectro Magic and Wishes. DS16 and DD19 will probably go to MGM for evening EMH.

MONDAY: I have no idea. Not too keen on doing MGM due to Star Wars weekend stuff. We did AK in its entirety during spring break. Maybe MK again? It's our favorite park.

Thoughts? Ideas? Valium?
:)

Short trips can be great!!! It gives you a taste of Disney. The key thing is to remember to scale back. When you get so used to planning 7-14 day trips, it's sometimes hard to take that step back.

It's a really short trip, so I'd possibly not cram another park in there on Monday. How about renting the watercraft or a character breakfast at a resort.

I'm in that 'what to do on Memorial Monday' boat, too. We actually get in the previous Wednesday and will have already devoted one complete day to MK, but thinking about using that Monday as our re-visit MK day and take in any attractions we missed or want to do again - basically just hang out. I'm sort of nervous of the crowds, but we'll just opt out of the park if it gets too bad. Plenty to do at POR.
