Help needed!!! 2d thoughts about CR.

Ds3 and I going in June!!!! Loved WL in April. For the AP rate we had a choice of CR, WL or BW. We mostly do early a.m. park and then spend pm at pool. Love the boat and monorail transport, but worried about pool issue.

Does CR have kiddie or shallow bottom pool?

CR pools #1 The large pool. Has fountains, good slide, 2 hot spa's, and fountains to run through on pool deck. The pool is the 3 1/2' deep entire pool. Its one depth. Pretty shallow. Not great for swimming, but great for the kids. The pool is located right next to the beach.

Pool #2 Is a round fairly large pool (larger than it first looks) with a square deck with fence, and is located out over bay lake next to the beach. It is shallow on the ends and gets deeper 5' + in the center. Usually more adults near this pool area.

Also remember the CR has a very nice marina & dock, located to the left of the pools and resturant / shower facilities areas.

The pools and outdoor recreation are definately a strong point of the CR!

No, it does not. This was the only drawback for us as our then 5yo was not a good swimmer and could not touch the bottom. CR used to have a kiddie pool. It was filled in years ago.

My 3 year old was too big for a kiddie pool. Once she learned that she could float around in the big pool with a free lifevest on, there was really no going back to the kiddie pool. I think you'll be fine and your 3 year old may even br brave enough to go down the slide!

Thanks so much for your quick replies. Although my ds3 is a great swimmer,(we live in FL) he likes to play and scoot in the "kitty cat" pool. He can stay for hours. So....I changed to WL which we were just at.

We'll do CR another day.
