Help.. We are going to WDW in May and need to purchase tickets to the parks. We (Me DD, DW, DS7, DS5, DD3) will be arriving May 6th and leaving May 15. We also would like to go to universal at least two of the days. There are so many ticket arrangments that my head is spinning.
We are staying at SOG but they have not been a help in what tickets to purchase as far as park hopper, plus etc options. They will sell me anything I ask for. So far our schedule looks like this:

MK, Epcot, AK, MGM, BB,(possibly TL or both), Universal twice one extra day to possibly go back to one of the parks.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Obviously, the Universal tickets will be separate from the Disney tickets.

For the Disney tix, I'm thinking 6-day MYW Premium tickets (which include Plus Pack options for the water parks and Disney Quest, as well as the park hopper option). You probably won't need the "No Expiration" option. 6-Day Premiums will run $276 for ages 10+ and $237 for ages 3-9. If you decide to just do one park per day, you can skip the park hopper option, and subtract $35 from each ticket.

I'm not sure if SOG has any discounts or specials -- you'd have to go directly to them to ask.

I may be mistaken but arent the stars and strips for Military only? I am a DoD employee so I do not think they apply to me. I was able to find out what I purchased in 2003 and they were the 7 day park hopper plus. This may be the one to get for me as we are planning the water parks. I don't think we need the park hopper option so that may be a change. The last time we ended up in one park per day so it was a waste.

I would still like any ideas if anyone has any, or any other places to see while we are there.

Thanks for all the help :)

I know that someone with a military ID needs to be there when you purchase the tickets, but I am not sure if the DOD id works too. I would call and find out.

This is what is says on their site:

Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes Tickets are available only for guests who are staying at Shades of Green Resort or who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort or staying at a
Resort located on Walt Disney World Resort. Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes Ticket will expire one day following that same number of days after the date of first use of the ticket.
For example: a 5-Day Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes Ticket will expire at the end of the 6th day after the date of first use of the ticket. Magic your Way Stars and Stripes offer

Thanks, I have been checking the shadesof green site but with all the ticket changes I am looking for any option that would save $.

PS How long are you staying at SoG? We will be there May 6th.

Thanks again :)
