Help! need to buy gift for bride and groom

My children are going to Disney/Boardwalk for their honeymoon. I wanted to have the bride and groom hats waiting for them when they arrived. I cannot seem to get Disney to do this for me. Is there a website to order gifts to be sent to the rooms? The girl on the phone said I had to purchase the hats there and they would send them then. Makes no sense to me. Can someone help me with this. Thanks

My MIL sent us a fruit basket when we were there for our honeymoon (also at the bwi). It was so wonderful...we really loved the gesture (and the fruit!).

Disney does not hold items in rooms, as they don't assign the specific room until the guest checks in. They may be able to order and hold the item in the lobby though, so call and ask about that. If not, I suggest finding the items on ebay or the like and shipping them to the resort. Once the gifts are at Disney they're very good about getting them delivered. Sometimes they even add extras like balloons or signed pics.

Why don't you try the Walt Disney World Florist......they may be able to incorporate the bride and groom hats into a gift basket for you which you can have delivered the day they check in......their phone number is (407) 827-3505 and the website address is www.disneyflorist.com. It's worth a try.....I find it rather sad that a CM was so poorly trained as to not suggest something like this........who did you call .....the front desk of the resort itself or reservations? I guess it just goes to show you......Disney's magical customer service simply isn't what it used to be.

You could also try ordering them from laughingplacestore.com and have them delivered to the hotel on/around their arrival date. After you get to the homepage, click on "apparel" and then "Mickey Mouse Ears" in the sub-category section. They are on the first page. Good luck!

I did go on Ebay and found just what I wanted. I may just give it to the kids before they leave. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. Cookie
