Hi hoping some one out there can help us. We have been deciding on what to do after wedding ceromony (intimate package), after lots of thought we have deceided to have wishes cruise with guest. Have booked this but now there is no wishes due to Mickeys not so scary halloween party - we are hoping there will be fireworks for this and this will be okay. We think we have to be at boat at 8pm. Our wedding is at 4pm so thought it would be nice to eat in 1900 Park Fayre in between (good menu choices for everyone and good price trying to work to a budget) We have just phoned to book priority seating and we can''t get a table, can anyone help us with some suggestions of what to do.
Am really dissapointed and stressed about what ourselves and guests will do now? Wanted everything to be perfect. ::MinnieMo

bluedisneygill, Last year at MNSSHP they had a special halloween version of Fantassy in the sky, but it was later than 8:00PM. Sorry to bear the bad news. Maybe you could do the EPCOTT ILLUMINATIONS cruise instead (it is a lot less money, but a lot less private.

:jumping2:

How about eating at Ohanas and then watching the fireworks and/or electric water parade from the beach of the Poly. Or you could make reservations at California Grill and time it for the fireworks from the Party. Or you could try any other restraurant at the GF, Poly or Contemporary and watch fireworks from the beach. You could also do the same with any restraurants around the Boardwalk area then watch Illuminations from around there. We are having a morning wedding and lunch afterwards at Porta Bello's at DTD then back to resorts for a nap, but we are trying to think of one last thing to do that night before everyone leaves in the morning.

If it is for this october its really unlikely that you will get a reservation for the illuminations cruise at such short notice. You book 90 days in asdvance, and ring up at 7am on that morning, we had to do this 8 mornings in a row to finally get one!

The fireworks with the MNSSHP last year were quite a bit later, like 10pm. The party was sooo much fun though, might be worth considering that idea?

try chef mickeys at the contemporary character dinner or ohanas at the polynesian family style buffet. if you want to stay at the gf you can try arranging private dining on the pier, beach or in a suite for you & your guests. not sure where your wedding is at but theres also the yacht club clambake buffet for dinner. keep trying back to for cancellations on the ar's.

as for the fireworks when we went last year the fireworks were at like 9pm during halloween.

hope it all works out in the end! :goodvibes

You disney wedding coordinator should be able to help you with your dining reservation for dinner after your wedding.

You are probably right, but sometimes FTW has a little bit of pull, esp if there was a miscommunication involved...

I think they do have some pull - in the way that they can reserve them at an earlier date before anyone else i think, but if the boats are all already booked i dont think they can do much! i only know coz i had a friend who had the same problem trying to get one for her wedding night!

Your EM may still be able to work some kind of magic, or offer suggestions on what may be a better fit. Could you do a Fantasmic event, or Illuminations dessert party? There are good dinner options near those as well. We've tried to get reservations at MK resorts for a meal on a night there was an MK party - almost impossible...

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions.
We have booked for MNSSHP for a different night. I have been on the phone tonight and have managed to get advanced booking at California Grill for 6.10 think we might have to sit at more than one table (have said its for wedding so maybe we will get some disney magic) and we can go for cruise from contemporary so we are going to wait and see if it will be at time of MNSSH fireworks( have been told that they are at midnight and that they are at 9.15 so will wait and see nearer the time) and then decide if we will go or not.
Feeling better now knowing guests will be able to get something to eat.

Thanks again
