Help, need some advise before midnight

I have to decide whether to bank all of our points or decide to rent them before midnight tonight since MS said I could send them an e-mail with my banking request, today is the last day to bank 100% of our points with our Sept. use year.

If I decide not to bank, do you think I will be able to rent them @ the usual $10 point rate before they expire on Aug. 31st?

If you are interesting in renting them I'm sure you could rent them for stays before Aug 31. Look at the rent/trade board...alot of people are looking for points. Maybe make a few private messages to people and see what they are looking for and see if it would work.
But if you think you will need or use those points next year depending on your vacations you could bank thema dn enjoy them yourself next year.

Its a 50/50 split in my mind. Do whatever benefits you the most. If you don't have next year planned yet then maybe bank them so you can have them to use and if next year yor in same boat then rent them.

I'm a new member and greedy... I would keep my points for my own use.

I hope you get some other opinions.

BANK THEM!!!! You will have 18 months to plan any future trips before they expire. If you find you need points between now and August, you could borrow your 2004 points. I would hate to see you stuck with points come August 31, 2004. Just plan a little better next time. The old proverb about "neither a lender nor a borrower be" does NOT apply to your DVC points.....Always place yourself in a situation where you have used all of your current points and need to borrow future points.

This may have been decided for you. According to my guidebook, "Pay attention to weekend deadlines. If your banking deadline falls on a weekend, you must complete your transaction by the Friday before your deadline." (p. 22) I'd still try the e-mail if you decide to bank, though, because it's worth a try.

Personally, I'd err on the side of banking them, as well. I'm new and we still find too many things to spend our points on. I already want an add-on!
