How long does it take to add an associate member to your account?

What information does the member have to provide about the associate member they want to add?

A medical issue is preventing relatives from using/managing some DVC reservations that need canceling. Can they add me as an associate member with a phone call, so I can immeadately begin to help them with their DVC, or are there forms that need filling out and mailing in?

I didn't follow everything all the way through, but it looks like you can add an associate online via the member website.

It looks like only the primary contact for the account can make changes, but if you go to the "Profile" part of the account, you'll see a full list of Purchaser, Additional Purchasers, and Associates. Next to each Associate's name there is a link to click to delete that person as an associate.

At the bottom of the list (for us it's a bit of a list because our account is owned by a trust and there are 3 owners and 3 associates), there is a link to "Add an associate." In the FAQ, it says it takes 2 business days to add an associate, but it does look pretty simple to do, and it looks like it can all be done online.
