There are toasters but not toaster ovens that I have ever seen.

I just call them toaster ovens all the time because in my entire life - I have never just had a plain toaster

No toaster ovens, just toasters and microwaves, and I believe both will work for the waffles.

Just left there yesterday for VWL and I can report that studios at both certainly do have toasters...!
