WARNING: THIS IS A LONG ONE! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP :)
We are leaving next Mon. (April 11) for our 9 day trip- DH, ME, DS9,DD 2 1/2.
This is our schedule and what I've packed so far- Any advice? I have 8 days so I can change things.....We are flying (carseat and stroller) so we are trying not to overpack- with that said- I dont want to do laundry either.

Monday- Arrive in Orlando 3PM. Rent car- Drive to Bradenton to visit Grandfather. Stay in hotel by him, dinner, kids swim

Tues. - Visit w/ Grandmpa , kids swim, etc. till about 4 Pm- Head to hotel in Orlando- out to dinner, swim, shop.... whatever we feel like doing

Wed. Magic Kingdom, Breakfast with Cinderella ( I did get a passporter and know what we "MUST DO" )

Thurs.- Sunday- DCL WONDER

Monday- MGM ( Must do's really dont include much- THe Little Mermaid, Play house Disney, Beauty and the beast.

Tues. Swim at hotel- Plane leaves at 3:00

* Should we get Park Hopper Passes or is there enogh to do at MGM for DS & DD ? This is DD first trip but when we just had DS, we would Park Hop - just doing the MOST IMPORTANT things and it was no biggie. We live 5 minutes away from a HUGE amusement park (Cedar Point in Ohio) so rides are not a big deal to my kids. I think it might take more time entertaining both of them since they are 7 years apart. Jus a note- My daughter does not need much sleep- She has never been a sleeper. I know some parents take the kids back to the room for naps etc. I dont think we will have to do that especially since we are not going to be in the parks back to back days.

*Packed one suitcase for Mon- THurs. Will put dirty clothes back in it and leave it in rental car while on the cruise.

Suitcase for cruise- clothes for rest of trip, wrinkle spray,

Duffle Bag for shoes- LOTS OF SHOES- Need dress shoes for cruise, sandals, tennis shoes, beach shoes....

Bag with swimsuits, beach toys, sunscreen, water wings, (dont want to pay top dollar in Nassu), snorleing gear

Carryon with Camera, Camcorder, documents, driverliscense, passporter, Brita bottles , 2 way walkie talkies, cell phone chargers, address book, flash light

Diaper bag- Books, toys, wipes, snacks, crayons, antibacterial gel, shout wipes,

DS carryon- Gameboy, charger, book, snacks, homework, antibacterial gel

Purse- Make up, magazine, the usual mom stuff

The only thing Iam havent packed is the bathroom stuff, hair dryer, shampoo, etc.... THis is where I always over do it- First aid kit, sewing kit, aloe, make up, fingernail polish remover etc.... Any tips?

Just remember I didnt pack the Cinderella dress yet.
I am packing old underclothes so we can jsut pitch it after we wear them.

Is there anything I missed or anything I can do without???? :confused3

If you want you can check out my post on what I just packed for my 8day,7 night trip to WDW...maybe to give you a little idea...I don't really know.

Thanks! I did read your list- Wow- I guess I really am a overpacker!! But really
2 kids need alot of stuff!!! Plus my daughter is JUST potty trained so I am expecting accidents!!!

I am an overpacker on trips too. I have 2 defenses though:
#1--I don't want to do laundry on vacation
#2- (this is the silly one)-- I don't want to be in all the same outfits in my vacation photo's :confused3 .

Anyway don't forget things like the sunscreen. Make sure it's new. Last years stuff could be expired or just not as effective.

I think your plans look good, and reasonable. I don't know that I'd park hop. You have limited time to begin with, so I'd think I'd just make the most of the 2 parks you picked out.

I do't like doing Laundry on vacation either, but if i don't I overpack far tooo much and don't end up wearing half the stuff!

About your #2 I am exactly the same!! I make a rule to try packing things that can be at least matched with 2-3 other items so you can mix and match and at least you are wearing a semi-new outfit each day. So a make sure a t-shirt matches with say a skirt and a pair of jeans etc etc....

As for your packing NickandLivvysmom you look like your doing ok esp with two kids, my theory is that if you can carry it, it can go with you! Maybe try and look what the weather might be like next week, might cut down on some "what if" items.

Have fun on your holiday anyways!!!
