Help Need off site hotel for aroun $100 - should i stay at Royal Plaza

I Need Help in determining a hotel to stay at for two nights during Nov 12-14. During this time i will not be going to disney but up to Kenndy space and gator land/shopping. I have been looking at the Royal Plaza which would cost $100.00 all in including breakfast. I need to stay around the 100.00 price point. Can any of the members provide some suggested hotels or feedback on the royal. Been reading trip advisor and it has me confused. I want to stay at the nicest hotel that i can afford.

We stayed at HRP two years ago before the hurricane refurbishment. Even at that time I was sort of scared to stay because of some negative information I had read.
We were very pleasantly surprised and happy with our week long stay and had no problems with the room or service.
It was a beautiful spacious hotel at that time and I've read that the update has made it even more lovely.

Hotel Royal Plaza is a great hotel. The location is great, on Disney property within walking distance to Downtown Disney. Complimentary transportation to the theme parks that is reliable, clean and comfortable, and with a free breakfast for $100 is a good deal.

Can anyone tell me a bit about the pool? Is it a reasonable size and reasonably attractive? The pictures I have seen dont look so gorgeous... yet the hotel itself looks pretty good.

The pool is medium to small in size, though very clean. No slides or water fall or anything like that.

I see that you are NOT doing Disney. Instead you are going to Kennedy Space Center. I would also suggest the Raddison at Cape Canaveral. Nice hotel with a great pool. Usually very reasonably priced.
