boys and girls.

Need to feed them a meal and I'm looking for ideas........that won't break the bank.
TIA.

Can you give us a little more info? Which meal? Breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What's the occassion? Will you be serving this in your own home or do you have to transport the food somewhere else?

I feed this many kids alot, DD 18, and DS 16 and their friends are always at our house. Pulled pork BBQ is easy, cheap and is they love it, tacos are another good idea. Also, chili, pizza, hot dogs, burgers, mac n cheese, or spaghetti. Hope this helps.

Pizza. All teens love Za. Make your own is fun. Have some topping out and ready. Add the amopunt of sauce, cheese, and topping they like. Or, just order pizza out. Use coupons from Ent book and such.

Spaghetti & Salad. I have even done a cheepo for of garlic toast by just toasting regular bread and sprinkling it with garlic salt.

That brings back memories of my childhood. Yep, I've done it, too.

Now I'm hungry.

I was also going to suggest pulled/bbq pork. So easy and so cheap and the teenagers seem to LOVE it!!!

tell me more....how easy? how do you make it?

For a large group I get a big pork loin, season it to taste and cook it all day in the crock pot (its nice if you can do this the day before, its easier to pull when its cool). Whe its very tender take it out till cool. Then pull it apart and add your favorite BBQ sauce, you can either warm it in the oven, or since they are watching a ball game, I'd probably just put it back in the crock pot so they can "graze".
It goes well with chips and slaw.

You could also throw a brisket in the Crockpot, and when ready, serve with pinto beans and cole slaw from a bag (just mix with dressing).

Spaghetti/salad/italian bread
OR
Taco meat/cheese/lettuce etc, side of Boxed Spanish Rice, simple salad

Have an enjoyable time!

I usually make baked ziti. Easy to make and cheap. The kids all love it.

Pocket tacos...small bags of fritos, taco meat, toppings. They dump the meat and toppings in the bag and eat out of it (no paperware!) If you can't get the fritos for a quarter, buy the store brand tortilla chips instead...if you shop at a warehouse store you might be able to get a huge box fairly cheaply. Instead of shredded cheese buy an industrial sized can of cheese sauce...much cheaper.

Look for the industrial sized cans of pudding or fruit. Fancy it up with some sprinkles, coconut, or marshmallows. One big can will cost maybe $4.

OR...a potato bar. You can buy a bag of potatoes for about $2.50. Add crumbled bacon, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and scallions and you have a meal. I sometime do taco potatoes...taco meat, sour cream, cheese sauce, and salsa. Either way is pretty inexpensive.

I know a lot of teens have a more sophisticated palate than that, but, if you're looking for cheap, that's the way I'd go!
