Help! need info on WL quick!! Leaving 3/29

Due to a ressie mix up I just found out I'll be at WL instead of AKL. To make a long story short, I modified a ressie, well CRO changed the package but not the dates and AKL is booked. I just found out tonight when I called to check if everything was right. Luckily they found a room at WL for me. I'm still bummed.
Let me hear some great things about WL. Are there any views, floors, etc. that I can request? Thanks in advance.

WL is sooooo cool, the theming is the best part, the large totem polls in the main lbby makes it. THe pool is nice and big along with the rooms.

...to some actual vintage Walt Disney memorabilia as well!! While there, check out some of Walt's personal model train cars in the "Iron Spike Room" in the Villas section!! They're really big!! It's an interesting display, and will be a little "extra" to augment "Walt Disney: One Man's Dream" attraction at the Disney-MGM Studios for guests at this resort (the train display is a permanent display and is not part of WDW's 100 Years of Magic Celebration).

The WL is awesome! The pool is really nice and the rooms are nice and big. The Whispering Canyon Cafe is a really great restaruant.

WL is absolutely spectacular! Any worries of disapointment will be long gone the second you walk into that amazing lobby. Great rooms, great food, fun pool, water activities on the lake, Electric Water Pageant on the lake every night. WLs got it all. The only thing you won't like is leaving

Quick tips: travels mugs ,buy immediately if they are dtill free refillable, bring with you to parks and fill on the way back from the room at the end of ther day, veiw the eleectric parade from the porch on the third floor , ask about he thbeautiful art on the 2,3,4 floors othe main loobly building, use the boats to thew Contemporary and eat at the Chef Mickeys at the end of the day, view fireworks from observation deck on the same floor of the California grill ofr just take inthe view, take the launch at the MK for the GrandFloridian and have lunch at the GF Grill then take the monorail to the Cont. then boat to the WL.
Ask for an upgrade if possible at the front desk and if you are there for a birthday, aniversary, honeymoon or what ever Celebration tell the front desk cast memeber.
Morning breakfast cart in the main lobby ( unceratain).
Read all the written material that they give you and ask at the front desk about any special events, and put the tv on in the room asap tune to the hotel channel for events scheduled during your stay.
A car is better than bus for getting for AK<MGM< Epcot.
Bus to MGM use the boat service from the MGM to Epcot and monorail to Trans CTR
then monorail to Contamp to boat to WL. GO FOR A SWIM IN THEWL POOL!

My DS and DD loved the bunkbeds! Request if you want them. What kind of view did you book? Woodsviews are great. You can request a MK view on an upper woodsview floor.
This is a wonderful resort, I don't think you will be dissapointed. You can watch the EWP each night(around 9:30 when we were there) from your balcony or the beach. You can boat to CR and walk to MK if going super early or just boat right to the front of MK. The geyser is fun to watch, the pool is beautiful. Lots to see and do at WL! Enjoy!

You'll absolutely love WL. Everytime we go we try to stay someplace else but always end up at WL. You will not be disappointed. Hope you have a great time.

And I think Tikiman's is maybe the best site dedicated to a single resort with lots of Disney history thrown in. Unfortunately bandwidth issues limit it's availability so bookmark and check back from time to time.
